Channel
Channels are different types of readings that a device records. Each device can have multiple channels, as their may be multiple readings for each device (e.g. consumption, back to grid, solar). Each channel only records a single type of reading.
Channels are mapped against meters, when you expand a meter row in the meter readings feature you will see a sub-row for each of the channels linked to it.
